Youth on Organization of Islamic Cooperation Indonesia (OIC Youth Indonesia)/ Pemuda OKI Indonesia is the umbrella organization of all youth organizations in Indonesia. It currently has 34 Muslim youth organizations under its umbrella, and also various sub bodies as well. The organization has representatives from the youth organizations in the structure in the Vice-President positions, Vice-Secretary Generals, and all the departments, ranging from Foreign Policy, Agriculture and Food Security, National Development, Economic Affairs, Sharia Economics, Law and Human Rights, Environment, Health, Santri Hub, Peace and Security, among others. Indonesia National Youth Council is registered as the member organization of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), an organization affiliated to the OIC, and OIC Youth Indonesia with the framework of Model OIC Indonesia National Team works closely in cooperation with ICYF under the supervision of the Indonesia NYC, with Mr. Tantan Taufiq Lubis as the Chairman and the Vice President of ICYF for Asian Region.
With Indonesia’s new role as the Vice-President of ICYF, OIC Youth Indonesia have more to offer to OIC and beyond. Indonesia supports past Indonesia supports the Joint Youth Action Plan as well as the OIC Youth Strategy that have been adopted at the 4th session of Islamic Conference on Youth and Sports Ministers (ICYSM) in Baku, Azerbaijan held on 17-19 April 2018 as a general strategy and governance of youth development planning in overcoming various global challenges member countries. And the Joint OIC Youth Strategy can be harmonized with the National Long Term Development Plan for 2005-2025 specifically related to the development of youth, and also has addressed linkages with the Sustainable Development Goals, in which UN has the UN Youth Strategy adopted in the UN General Assembly 2018.
The OIC Youth Indonesia is aimed at coordination of Islamic youth activities in the Republic of Indonesia and OIC countries. Consist of 5 major field : 1. advocacy of youth interests, 2. Supporting sustainable development and the OIC Youth Strategy 3. promoting formal and non -formal education, 4. strengthening moral values of young generation 5. engaging in the dialogue among cultures and civilizations. 6. Syiar of Islam By Youth.

Current President of OIC Youth Indonesia is Ms. Astrid Nadya Rizqita, Secretar-General Mr. Sarief Saefulloh, General Treasurer Ms Mevi Amanda Sari, Executive Secretary Mr. Ilham Akbar, and Deputy Treasurer Ms. Nabila Harahap.
On behalf of OIC Youth Indonesia and Indonesia National Youth Council, Astrid Nadya Rizqita serves as Model OIC Project Country Coordinator to Indonesia. She has been appointed as of 25th December 2019 by ICYF President H.E Mr. Taha Ayhan and Asian Representative Vice President to ICYF H.E Mr. Tantan Taufiq Lubis. On behalf of National Model OIC Coordinator to Indonesia, we work to raise awareness on Model OIC project, expand the network of Model OIC Clubs being one of the projects in the Joint Youth Action Plan adopted on the 3rd Session of Islamic Conference of Youth and Sports Ministries (ICYSM).
