Jakarta, President of OIC Youth Indonesia Ms. Astrid Nadya Rizqita took part as a panel speaker in the Merdeka Talk: Pemuda Dalam Babak Kemerdekaan Nusantara held by Kelab WAMY Malaysia, KAGUM, MBM, PKPIM and Secretary of Civil Society Assembly for Peace held virtually on Facebook Live on 1st September 2021.
Among the panel speakers are En. Mohamad Hanapi, as the President of WAMY Kelab Malaysia, and Mr. Hassan Yamadibu Secretary of Civil Society Assembly for Peace, as well as scholar and historian from Pattani, Thailand, moderated by Mohamad Nazmi, Vice President of PKPIM. The event was held to mark the Independence Day of Malaysia commemorated annually on 31st August to discuss and exchange views on each speaker’s perspective on independence and the role of youth today in making change in their respective countries as well as to instill a better understanding and unity of Nusantara youth.
